Many stayed and stared and wondered, "Why?” Everyone went back home to get to bed on time. Many stayed and saw the flower die. He thought it was interesting how it wilted. Now, he felt the beauty but saw something else. He couldn't connect the realization with feeling how he felt. The flower was left for dead. Only he remembers it. The rest, asleep, forget. "Beautiful," they said. Only he remembers it. The rest, asleep, forget. We climbed the tallest oak tree in our neighborhood. And threw willow acorns at passersby. And I have a good arm, but I missed every one, And I don't miss anyone I've ever met in my life. (in my life) But all that's left in my head Is "I wish we never met.” I wish we never met. And all that's left in your head: “ “ Put that silencer to my head. Oh, darling, I wish we never met. The flower was left for dead. It's all that's left in my head. I wish we never met. #singer #songwriter #musicvideo
